Savosa

History

Savosa rises on a hill at the gates of Lugano, amid period villas and gardens that have earned it a reputation as a green residential municipality. From an old rural hamlet it became, over the 20th century, one of the most sought-after residential areas of the Lugano agglomeration. Its closeness to the city center still coexists with quiet corners among private parks and tree-lined avenues.
