Sant'Antonino

History

Sant'Antonino stretches across the Magadino plain, the fertile floodplain of the Ticino river, once marshy and now the main farming area of the Bellinzona region. The old village has seen industrial and commercial activity grow in recent decades thanks to its position along major transport routes. Cultivated fields and drainage canals still mark the plain's landscape.
