Porza

History

Porza rises on a hillside at the gates of Lugano, between the Cassarate plain and the first slopes of the hills. From a farming village it became, in the 20th century, a green residential district prized for its views over the Lugano agglomeration. The area still offers fine panoramas of the surrounding mountains.
