Magliaso

History

On the shores of Lake Lugano, Magliaso is a small municipality that has blended its past farming tradition, tied to asparagus cultivation, with contemporary residential life. Its golf course, among the oldest in Ticino, stretches almost to the lakeshore. The historic core, set back from the water, retains the layout of a Malcantone village.
