Cureglia

History

Cureglia lies in the lower Vedeggio valley on the edge of Lugano, in a landscape that has seen strong residential growth in recent decades. Its old core, gathered around the parish church, recalls the village's farming origins, once tied to the fields in the plain below. Its closeness to the city has made it a commuter town toward Lugano today.
