History
Set on the shores of Lake Lugano at the foot of Monte San Giorgio, Brusino Arsizio is linked by cable car to the mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its exceptional Triassic-era fossils. The small harbor and lakeside core retain the look of an old fishing village on the Ceresio. Its narrow lanes drop steeply to the water between houses set against the rock.
